Toyota Kenya Senior Management led by MD Arvinder Reel, Chief Operations Officer Joshua Anya and General Manager Andrew Omolo
When this writer began highlighting the evils at Toyota Kenya as submitted by past and present employees last month, it was certainly not among his expectations that the series would drag on to what is now the “Seventh Episode” of neverending complaints against the vehicle distributor.
But here we are, more than two weeks later and oppressed staffers at the company led by Arvinder Reel just won’t stop protesting.
And why would they stay quiet when, for the first time in their lives, they have been presented with an open, bias-free platform to finally speak out against the suffering and oppression from their rogue employer?
The very least we can do, as an honest news website founded on the virtue of boldness and truth, is to continue to amplify these suppressed voices to our audience and beyond.
In this latest e-mail anonymously forwarded to us last week, a former Toyota Kenya employee who worked at the firm for over 5 years delved deeper into the details of what other past sources have confessed as a toxic working environment and an incompetent, greedy and dirty management causing havoc behind the glorious scenes portrayed by the company.
The insider revealed that as owners continue to invest millions of shillings in positive media coverage, most personnel on the ground are battling depression.
The rogue management, whose rot was also recently unearthed on this blog, is said to reward loyal cronies, mistresses and “yes men” at the total expense of competence and results.
To paint a clearer picture of the mystifying situation, the former staffer poetically opined that to survive the “abusive marriage” at Toyota Kenya, one must behave like Oscar Sudi around Deputy President William Ruto.
Senior officials at the dealer have been hit with allegations of running parallel garages under the Toyota umbrella, which is a conflict of interest.
This is reportedly supported by the top management because the accomplices always get away with it.
This is something that the top cream is aware and some General managers cover up these accomplices.
“Dear Nyakundi,
Thanks for highlighting the plight of employees at Toyota Kenya, may God reward you.
I worked in Toyota Kenya between 2015 to 2020.
I tell you the place is the most toxic work environment you can ever think about.
It is like being stuck in an abusive marriage.
Worse than you can ever imagine.
The company invest millions in PR while the silent majority are dying of depression.
The management team reward their cronies, girlfriends and bootlickers at the expense of competence.
You have to behave like the brainless Oscar Sudi around the thief Ruto to survive at Toyota Kenya.
Arvinder Reel and Joshua Anya are the Leaders of the Black Heart Society in Kenya, so toxic and evil that the Devil would be considered a saint.
When I go to Heaven and I find Arvinder Reel and Joshua Anya there.
I will gladly choose Hell.
I feel for the people still stuck in there with not so many options.
May they find peace.
New info coming in is that some of these senior managers also run garages under the Toyota umbrella.
Which Toyota management believes is a conflict of interest.
This is something that the top cream is aware and some General managers cover up these accomplices.
The worst thing is these crafty creatures continue to work for Toyota Kenya while the junior staff who double up working for these creatures have been fired and the crafty ones are retained?
Who fights for the innocent in Kenya?” our source writes.
