In April this year, we highlighted complaints from frustrated servicemen at AutoXpress Limited – a leading car parts importer and distributor in Kenya.
They claimed that the crooked management was openly promoting mistreatment, tribalism, and nepotism.
At first, most of the allegations targeted the company’s native directors, like Human Resource (HR) Manager Dickson Nyambori, who is adversely accused of practicing open bias toward members of his community by awarding them promotions and salary increments.
They also mentioned Mombasa Road Branch Manager Margaret Awuor, who is notorious for orchestrating unfair dismissals based on trumped-up charges.
The submissions painted a picture of a depressingly negative working atmosphere where extreme laziness, rumor-mongering, and mistrust are the order of the day.
As days went by, it became substantially clear that most of the troubles are traced to the racist Asian cabal on top of the company’s hierarchy.
Their laxity has harbored the perfect conditions for staff exploitation.
The racist department heads get much-needed help in bulldozing the workforce from powerless female managers whom they purposely appoint for easier manipulation.
They reward loyalty to the Asians instead of hard work.

The explosive pieces caused ripples across the administration and gave birth to bright hopes for change.
Unfortunately, the optimism and expectations were short-lived.
Ever since the social media uproar died down, their woes have only worsened.
Wages are uninspiring, and unionized employees are persecuted with heavy deductions and unfair discrimination.
They only adjust salaries for non-unionized personnel.
Most are desperate for a way out.
Earlier this afternoon, a member of their workshop team wrote to us, below is what he had to say.
I work at AutoXpress and I’m currently looking for a way out of the company.
I am not so educated but at least I have a certificate in Motor-vehicle Mechanic.
We work tirelessly, but as the workshop team, they do not appreciate us despite you exposing the toxic environment at AutoXpress Limited.
The company makes so much money and they use us as their money-making machines.
They forced us into the union without our consent and thus denied salary increase, saying only that salaries for those unionized cannot be adjusted while the management can increase their salary any time because they are not in the union.
We are suffering in silence and have no one to cry out to
I’m pleading that if you are able to connect us to better companies that can value the amount of energy we input into their business, we will gladly take the offer.
Been in this company for more than 6 years but nothing has not helped me achieve anything.
I personally approach you and ask for your assistance.
