Kenyans are planing to protest runaway corruption at the Beyond Zero Marathon event today.
The Beyond Zero Marathon whose motto is ‘no woman should die while giving birth’, organised by the first lady Margaret Kenyatta, is meant to raise money for Maternal Child Health (MCH) activities at the counties.
The sums of money has grown over the three editions of the beyond zero marathons. The marathons raised nearly KSH 600 million (US$ Six Million) including in-kind donations.
In 2016, over Ksh. 5 billion was misappropriated at the Ministry of Health. The scandal linked sisters of president Uhuru Kenyatta, siphoning money from the ministry.

Some argue that the Beyond Zero Marathon which is run by the first lady Margaret Kenyatta be closed since it is insincere that her husband oversees the most corrupt jubilee regime.
Sources close to CNYAKUNDI.COM have confidently informed us that security officials in charge of providing safety at the marathon have been having headaches following the threats from Kenyans.
