Dear cyprian
You need to blow the whistle and lift the lid on the wrongdoing at the Kenya motorsport federation.
I worked there until I could not take any more of the corruption, theft of public money as I did not want to be a party to this.
This is another KFF in the making, where a lot of money will have been stolen at it too late.
The government gave Sh800,000 million, while KCB, Safaricom and other sponsors gave another Sh150,000 million.
The CEO and his close ally James Kahumbura have spared no expense to steal from public coffers, flying all over the world on business class tickets and spending life in expensive hotels at the cost of the Kenyan public.
You have Indians employed, without work permits, while others don’t even pay any income tax. This seriously needs to be investigated by EACC, KRA, and The Immigration DEPT and the FIA parent body for motorsport body before the Kenyan people lose more money.
They gave the CS for sport a position on the FIA, the sports governing body, to keep her quiet. It was open bribery.
Please help before these people loot everything and that would really be sad.
As we speak both the WRC CEO and James Kahumbura are in Paris on public money.
Dr. Amina Mohamed, Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Sports, Culture and Heritage
There has been no statement of accounts for the federation provided for the last 4 years, how or why is the registrar quiet on this?
There have been no director’s meetings for the last 3 years, meaning they have been operating illegally yet nothing has been done. Where are the checks and balances? where is the oversight to avoid theft?
The CEO procured 3 rally cars; one was for his son using the WRC money. This is the height of theft. Sir if we do not expose this rotten happening we will be failing on our moral objective.
Please help expose this to the right authority for this to stop before it’s too late.
Why do Kenyans have to wait until all the money is stolen?
