Looting In Garissa: Check These Photos Of Sufurias That Cost Over 40 Million Shillings

Garissa Woman Representative Anab Subow Gure | Facebook

Garissa Women Representative, Anab Subow Gure is a woman of means. Thinking bigger than the Jubilooters.

Residents claim she bought household utensils for over Kshs 40 million, the whole project cost Kshs 75 million.

In January, she launched a Kshs. 10.8 million bursary fund for the needy students in Garissa; with the support of the National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF).

This is a case of confusion; education is important than Sufurias.

Read below:

Hi Nyakundi,

In Garissa Kshs.75 millions has gone to the bin for Sufuria, mobile plastic water tanks and dirac for our ladies.

Not all ladies who applied for the above got them, this is a controlled scheme to benefit the ‘connected’few.

It is 99.99 percent biased

Can the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) investigate this fraud in Garissa Women Representative, Ms. Anab Subow Gure office?

Mama Tomato, as she is fondly known, is plundering the National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF). She has used 40 million in her disposal to buy tomatoes, Sufurias and Dirac.

Spending colossal amount to the tune of 40 million on chilly sauce and tomato sauce is unthinkable!

This is a political tragedy that has befallen voters in Garissa County.

This is what happens when you elect the wrong people to an office.

About the National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF)

The National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF) which falls under the Ministry of Public Service, Youth and Gender Affairs was enacted through Legal Notice No.24 of the Public Finance Management Act, 2012 and published on 13th February 2015.

The Fund is governed by the Public Finance Management Act, 2012, and Public Finance Management (National Government Affirmative Action Development Fund), Regulations 2016.

The Fund is a product of our Constitution in support of the Government’s commitment to putting in place measures to redress past disadvantages among certain segments of our population. It is also anchored on the Vision 2030 development blue print under the Social Pillar to address the plight of vulnerable groups through enhanced access to financial facilities for socio-economic empowerment among women, youth, Persons with Disabilities, needy children and elderly persons in the country.

It also provides an avenue for promotion of enterprise and value addition initiatives.

This NGAFF kitty and equalisation funds has been misused in Garissa on useless household items.

Is this acceptable development?

Garissa is looted everywhere.
