Daniel Chemjor (pictured) died early Thursday morning after his car plunged into a deep gorge on Keria Valley in Baringo County.
Daniel Chemjor was the head of news production at K24Tv. He is said to have been on his way to see his family; his wife had delivered.
His car and body has been retrieved from the gorge.

Message of condolences have began pouring in from friends and former colleagues in the media industry.
K24 journalist Betty Kyalo remembered Chemjor as an ‘amazing news director’.
Saddique Shaban remembered him as a ‘long time friend’.
