A Kenyan woman who had gone abroad for greener pastures claims she was beaten after she refused to sleep with his boss’s son.
“Her boss alimpiga akamchoma akampiga tena na bado humpiga. Huwa anaambiwa alale na son wa tajiri yake ambaye ako epileptic akikataa fimbo. Adi anamwamgia maji moto”, said a good Samaritan who took up the lady’s message seeking help
The woman now wants ways to come back home.
“Sasa anataka hii story iende Internet to attract attention ya watu aone kaa anaeza saidika akuje Kenya”, the good Samaritan added.
Kenyans who seek job opportunities abroad especially in the Arab countries continue to suffer beatings, slavery and untold torture, some of which lead to disappearance or even death.
Recently, Malcom Bidali, a 28-year-old security guard, was arrested on May 5 and was placed in custody “for violating Qatar’s security laws and regulations”, Qatar’s Government Communication Office (GCO) said.
Mr Bidali had aired his dissatisfaction with the working conditions in the country. He blogged about his experience after self-teaching himself about the rules, regulations and laws of the country.
