Huduma Centre Kiambu Converted To Corruption Zone

CAPTION: The Kiambu Branch of the Huduma Centre is located at the Thika West DC’s office just opposite Thika Sub-County Stadium

A frustrated resident of Thika, Kiambu County has unearthed an ongoing corruption racket at a major state office situated in the industrial town.

Speaking to us on Monday, May 23, the source who requested anonymity sadly revealed how crooked attendants at Kiambu Huduma Centre have been unlawfully hawking government services to the highest bidder.

For minor acts of assistance like the simple issuance of a good conduct, applicants have to fork out not less than Sh3,000 as ‘Chai’.

Those that fail to comply are forced to wait for many weeks.

“Hi, Nyakundi.

Niko hapa Thika Huduma Centre where getting services has become very tough without connections or money.

Sasa good conduct nilijaza 19th sasa wakaniambia nitoe 3k or I wait until 30th at the same time kwa waiting bay hakuna watu bana.

Hiii inaumiza sana,” the source writes.
