Hey Mutahi Kagwe: Where did money to pay Hadassah Hotel for hosting Covid-19 response team go?

After March 2020, at the height of fear over the Covid-19 virus, the. Ministry of Health chose Hadassah Hotel to house medical staff beautifully christened the Covid-19 Response Team.

Over a year later, Hadassah Hotel has not received the payment for accommodation of the team totalling to Sh27 million.

Kagwe-led MoH on the other hand has reaped from where it did not sow.

Through proposals that paint Kenya as suffering more from the ravages of coronavirus, more than Italy, Brazil, South Africa and India combined, the well-oiled cartel have received donations which have ended up in people’s pockets.

The Kemsa Scandal was an eye opener, but even before that, we were told that MoH used about Sh4 million on tea and snacks alone in record time.

Kenyans will never know the true extent of theft of monies meant for containment of Covid-19 vitus.

However, one thing is for sure, business people line Hadassah Hotel continue suffering for unpaid dues.

“We housed the Covid-19 response team, with all the risk that was involved they have not paid the invoice totaling Sh27 Million plus. We have followed nobody is helping they are taking us in circles boss,” a source from Hadassah Hotel said.
