EABL Accused of Grabbing a Public Road

Uninspiring EABL CEO Jane Karuku

A concerned Kenya has sent to us a concern that Jane Karuku led EABL has a tendency of blocking a public road heading to Ngumba Estate and the one Joining Thika Super Highway via Roasters interchange.

According to the concerned Kenyan, EABL blocks Ngumba Lane to allow long pick up and deliveries at the EABL Distribution Yard located on the left side along Ngumba Lane- a public road.

For those plying Thika Super Highway, motorists can avoid traffic by diverting just before Garden City, take a detour which takes you through EABL along Ngumba Lane, then rejoin Thika road at Roasters.

“Hello bro, there is an issue I want you to highlight. EABL should tell residents of Ngumba Estate and other road users if Ngumba lane is their private road or a public road. EABL has a tendency of blocking Ngumba lane and causing heavy traffic. Residents have complained but the company neither listens nor responds. The pickups going to EABL on the Ngumba road are always causing traffic by parking on the road,”

EABL has also a tendency of hiring contractors who lack courtesy of issuing a notice when closing the public Road.
