On Tuesday, 10 August 2021, Kenyans woke up to the news that city lawyer and politician Karen Nyamu had accused her partner, Samuel Muchoki alas “Samidoh” of physically abusing her.
In a live video session she held on her Instagram page, Nyamu alleged that Samidoh showed up at her house and handed her a thorough beating over false infidelity claims.
She claimed that the Muugithi star accused her of cohabiting with other men during one of her recent business trips to Mombasa.
Defending herself, noted that just like everyone else, her colleagues comprise of both men and women and that it should, therefore, not be a surprise if she is witnessed in the company of men.
She also accused Samidoh of a bunch of other allegations, including breaking her expensive iPhone 12 Pro Max and threatening to kill her.

Particularly so because by the publishing of this post, Samidoh himself was yet to publish an official response to the allegations.

According to a trusted confidant in Samidoh’s camp, it has now emerged that as many suspected, there was indeed another man involved in their scuffle.
It is said that after her first trip last month, Ms Nyamu informed Samidoh that she would be travelling to Mombasa again this week for some work-related issues which would take a few days.
On the evening of Monday, 9 August 2021, she called Samidoh to notify him she had “arrived” safely at the Coast.

Karen Nyamu, who is likely to take a stab at the Nairobi Woman Rep seat one more time said she will be filing a police report on Tuesday and vowed to teach Samidoh a lesson of his own.
The couple first popped into the limelight last year after she claimed that he was not acknowledging their son.
Samidoh confirmed that indeed he had an affair with Karen Nyamu, which led to the birth of their son.
The story spread like wildfire forcing Samidoh who doubles as a police officer to apologize to his first wife.
The singer said that he had put his family and himself in a bad situation, but has never left his wife of 11 years, for another woman.
He went on to state that he is a proud father and will always support his children in all ways.
Karen later alleged that she did not know that the hitmaker was a married man.
