Dear Sir/ Madam,
On 29th October 2019, I booked Modern Coast bus via MPESA transaction number (withheld) paid via paybill number 525600. I was to travel from Nairobi to Mombasa, via Oxygen bus at night.
I wasn’t issued with an online receipt online, so I called the customer care number that was given.
The person (Wycliffe) encouraged me to just wait assuring me that there was no problem as long as I got transaction payment details.
So, I called again on 30th October and I was assured by Wycliffe and Mary that my ticket will be available.
On Friday 1st November 2019, I called again and I was told by Wycliffe to just go to the bus station and I will get my ticket from a night supervisor. Upon reaching there at 8.30pm, I was told to wait for the supervisor who later came and upon listening to me, told me he doesn’t have any information about my travel.
However, he acknowledged and saw the payment details but he could not allow me to travel.
So, we engaged each other all these time saying he cannot call Wycliffe from home to clarify the information about my receipt. That means I had to get back home in Kimende at around 1.50pm.
I have since followed up to be refunded back my money with them from 2nd November 2019 until now with no success.
I would like to put this across to you and realized that there had been other incidents earlier from your posts.
